The Texas Property Code governs the maximum penalty/fine that a court may assess for a violation of a restrictive covenant.

Section 202.004 of the Texas Property Code states that a court may assess civil damages for the violation of a restrictive covenant not to exceed $200.00 for each day of the violation.
