Lance J. Erickson is a partner at Manning & Meyers and focuses his practice on representing landlords, developers, and property owners associations. He is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Residential Real Estate. He manages all eviction, bankruptcy, and litigation cases for Manning & Meyers.
Out of law school, Lance worked for a large consumer bankruptcy firm where he represented more than 700 individuals and small businesses seeking bankruptcy protection in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13. He was then employed at a national real estate firm representing major financial institutions, government-sponsored entities, and mortgage servicers throughout the State of Texas in bankruptcy, civil, and eviction matters.
Lance received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University in 2005 and played for the BYU football team. He received his Juris Doctorate from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2010.
Lance is fluent in Russian, having served for two years in Moscow, Russian Federation as a missionary. He is a true crime fan and enjoys books, documentaries, and podcasts on the subject.
Lance has been a member of the State Bar of Texas since May 2010. He is also a member of the Bankruptcy Section of the State Bar of Texas, the Texas Bar College, and is Board Certified in Residential Real Estate.
